We got to spend some time with grandchildren.

Samantha, age three and a half, learning to ride the horse.

Look Mama, no hands!

Kate, age seven months, can sit but a pillow is behind her because she tends to topple over.

Kate seems to like the cold air on her tongue. She sticks it out often.

Samantha learning to ride a scooter. Her Mama thought she needed a helmet, plus knee and elbow pads.

She is getting more confident on the scooter.

Kate's tongue is sticking out again.

Her tongue is in her mouth for a moment. Grandaddy isn't wearing his glasses because Kate was grabbing them.

Samantha loves to have an adult push her on the swing.

The sticks in the woods are interesting.

Ready for Thanksgiving dinner.

Turkey, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes and wild rice were all enjoyed.

A few weeks later we arrived for Angelina's Christmas party at school. Angelina is seven now.

There was a pre-Christmas exchange of gifts among the five children with their nanny.

Angelina and Evan, age two and a half, playing in the woods.

The woods seem quite enjoyable.

They are shaking the small trees. It was getting chilly. That's why they have heavier coats on.

Evan is carefully testing his footing.

Evan just after he slid down the spiral slide at the park.

Angelina was enjoying the park equipment too.

Oliver is easy to please. That's a TV remote control he is playing with.

Oliver, 13 months old, is a happy kid.

Making Christmas cookies.

Decorating Christmas cookies.

On Christmas morning, there is a new play house. In the foreground is a new see-saw.

It seems that the playhouse is a lot of fun.

Oliver is sitting on one of his Christmas gifts, while his sister and brother take off the wrapping.

Evan reading one of his Christmas books.

Angelina opening her new digital camera.

Evan playing with new cars.

Trying his new scooter, being careful to roll between the cars.

Christmas dinner.

Angelina took a lot of photos with her new camera. One is this picture of her brother.

This picture shows the perspective of a 7-year-old. A photo of an adult shows the ceiling in the background.

We then spent a few days at New Years with Samantha and Kate. Kate is getting more assertive, reaching for the cards in of this board game.

Sometime Kate really enjoys grinning at the camera.

However, in this picture Kate is trying to figure out why the other two silly people are putting things on their heads and have put something on her head too.

On New Years Day there were a few more Christmas gifts to be opened.

Samantha has just completed putting a new puzzle together.

The two girls dressed for bed.

Samantha had just read a book and is now in her bed. She likes pink!
