This photo was taken from the top of Tinto looking northeast. The foreground shows the beginning of the descent down the eastern route, near the fence in the lower right corner. I normally ascend via the path which is not quite visible in this picture. Then I like to begin the descent on that smooth soft moss and heather surface seen in the foreground, and then join the path a little further down.
