As we were leaving Plockton, these sheep held up traffic while they ambled down the road. They finally wandered over to the grass to let traffic move onward on the single-track road. We drove half way back toward Loch Torridon and then turned left onto a narrow road that went over high hills to get to Applecross. We explored, to the degree possible by car, the entire Applecross peninsula. It is a remote area that isn't easily accessed. We followed the shore road northward until we were on the south shore of Loch Torridon.
