The right-center portion of this map shows the Loch Torridon area of Wester Ross. The bridge to the Isle of Skye is at the Kyle of Lochalsh, at the bottom of this map. A few miles north of there is Plockton, where we had lunch one day. The Applecross peninsula is northwest of Plockton and south of Loch Torridon. The route of our four Torridon walks is plotted in light green. We hope we get to return to Torridon to walk other hills and glens, for the excellent seafood dinners and for the unspoiled scenery.
