From a bit higher on the hill behind the cottage, this is the view of the loch and the hills to the southwest. The cottage is on a flat shelf of land at an altitude of about 115 feet above the high tide level of Loch Torridon. The green area down near the water is the Inveralligin common ground, just this side of the mouth of the river.
