| The cottage was built in the 1970s by a Glasgow couple as a retirement home. They had an active retirement here for 20 years. They planted extensively around the cottage, including fruit trees and vines and a vegetable garden. They hill walked extensively and were active in the Torridon Mountain Rescue group. Due to health issues, they had to move to a less remote location. The man died a few years ago and the lady is still alert in her upper 90s. |
